My video camera was made by Basler Vision Technologies. It is an acA1300-30gm. The sensor size is 1296 x 966 pixels and each pixel measures 3.75 μm x 3.75 μm. This is a monocolor camera that captures up to 30 frames per second.
The cable on the left provides the 12 volt power. The cable on the right is a GigE cable carrying the video information to my laptop.
All images are captured through an Astronomik L, R, G, or B filter using FireCapture software.
In use the camera also has a 1.25" web camera adapter which also holds the filter. Usually I also use a Tele Vue 4x Powermate Barlow Lens.
After capture the L, R, G and B images are aligned, stacked and sharpened with RegiStax 6. These processed images were then combined in PhotoShop.
