Aerial view of Atlas from image below made by using LTVT. Hercules is to the left (west). Atlas is a floor-fractured crater. Note many rills criss-crossing the floor of Atlas in contrast to the smooth, lava-covered floor of Hercules. The hill in the center of Hercules is most likely the remains of a central peak.
